Why an item can be visible but unavailable to trade
Learn the difference between shop stock, reference asks, current quotes and buy offers.
Stock, an ask and a quote are different
An item may be present in the shop inventory without a current sale price. An observed ask describes a price seen on a listing or an approved shop rule. A checkout quote additionally checks fresh ownership, the exact payment and current reservations.
A reference ask keeps browsing useful while fresh market evidence is being collected. It does not authorize a trade. If the price changes during a check, review the changed payment before proceeding.
Unavailable does not mean worthless
An item can be reserved for an existing trade, not tradable, awaiting a price check, or outside the variants the shop currently supports. A missing buy offer means the shop is not currently offering to acquire that exact item; it is not an estimate of zero value.
The customer inventory’s usable view shows eligible payment and currently supported offers. The all-items view also includes items that cannot be used for the current trade. Stock limits and funding can affect whether a buy offer is available.
Ordinary paint and craftability
Ordinary applied paint does not add a premium or discount to our valuation. A paint can sold as its own item still has its own price. Spells, additional particles and special qualities remain distinct.
Craftability matters for weapons used as scrap and for crafting items. It is not automatically disqualifying for known direct-use consumables such as standard paints and Name Tags. Always check the supported exact variant and final quote.
When an item sells out
A previously stocked item keeps its catalog page with an out-of-stock notice and real alternatives. New qualifying stock automatically updates the catalog. A search engine may take longer to refresh its result, so use the current page and trade workspace for availability.
Public automated checkout is not open yet. The public catalog is available for browsing while the owner tests the trading flow.
